Today is week 37 and the baby is now considered full term. YEA! That basically means that the baby could be born any day now and that he would be able to function on his own.
Weighed in today at 200 pounds so hoping my weight is leveling off a little. The baby's heart rate was measuring at 147 but the doctor said he was moving so an elevated heart rate at that time is normal. I also tested negative for the strep test so I am happy about that. Then the doctor checked if I was dilated and absolutely nothing and the baby is still very high. Basically guaranteeing me another week of pregnancy. Ugh. But, it is also a good thing as we are painting the new house this week so having he baby in my tummy is a lot more convenient than lugging around a new born to the work site. As much as I want him here, having him sit tight for a couple more weeks would be pretty convenient too. Until next week :)
